Ghost of Yotei has become one of the projects utilizing the enhanced capabilities of the PS5 Pro console. The question arises: have the authors managed to show noticeable progress compared to the regular PlayStation 5?
According to blogger ElAnalistaDeBits, the base PS5 offers three display modes, while the Pro offers four. In quality mode, both systems offer a resolution of 2160p at 30 frames per second. But when choosing performance, the difference is noticeable: the standard PS5 reduces the resolution to 1440p–1080p, while the Pro maintains a level of 1800p–1440p at a stable 60 fps.
There is also a ray tracing mode — 30 fps, improved global illumination, more natural shadows, and ambient occlusion. But the PS5 Pro has an exclusive option — Ray-Tracing Pro: up to 60 fps, PSSR support, and a clearer picture at 1440p–1080p.
As for stability, Ghost of Yotei works confidently. Minor fps drops are noticeable only in performance mode on the standard PS5 and do not affect gameplay. The engine optimization demonstrates a high level.
