The developers of Borderlands 4 at Tokyo Game Show showed the first new character to appear in the game soon.
C4SHA is the new hero of the first paid add-on Mad Ellie and the Vault of the Damned, available both as part of the Vault Hunter Pack and separately. The character will appear in the game in the first quarter of 2026, but the studio has already revealed the details.
C4SHA is a former casino croupier who became a wandering hunter in search of cursed magical artifacts capable of breaking all the laws of probability. Mad Ellie and Vault of the Damned are full of cosmic nightmares and unique items, some of which may tip the victory in favor of C4SHA.
Like other Vault Hunters, C4SHA has three unique Active Skills and can upgrade abilities through three skill trees, each branch filled with powerful passive effects and customization options. C4SHA's peculiarity is that his Active Skills are unpredictable and contain an element of randomness. The "risk and reward" playstyle will allow the character to strengthen himself and allies, deal devastating damage, drain the power of enemies, and much more.
