Team Cherry has released a beta update for Hollow Knight Silksong while work continues on the third patch. The interim update is available in the beta branch and contains a number of fixes and improvements that players can test before the official release.
The update expands controller support, including full compatibility with DualSense Edge. It also fixes gameplay bugs, inaccuracies in movement, and issues that occurred in the later stages of the game. Team Cherry has confirmed that additional changes will be made by the time the third patch is released.
The beta update adds support for the DualSense Edge controller and improves the performance of other gamepads, including Mac. The game now automatically pauses when the controller is disconnected. A bug has been fixed that caused some players to get stuck cursed in the late game. Errors with Curveclaw's reaction to hunter strikes, the appearance of Cogflies in the wrong places, and rare situations with air dashes and double jumps have been fixed. Several instances of going out of bounds, an issue with Pharlid Divers sliding, and gear resetting after Eva Hunter Crest upgrades have also been fixed.
