Konami has announced that Silent Hill f has sold over a million copies worldwide, becoming the fastest-selling project in the series' history. The statistics include both physical shipments and digital sales as of September 27, 2025.
The milestone was reached within a few days of release, highlighting the high interest in the new title.
The NeoBards Entertainment game was released on September 25, 2025, on PlayStation 5, PC, and Xbox Series X/S. Deluxe Edition owners gained access two days earlier. The story is set in 1960s Japan, in the grim town of Ebisugaoka, where schoolgirl Hinako Shimizu encounters terrifying creatures and solves complex puzzles in an attempt to survive. The standalone plot and unusual atmosphere have attracted the attention of not only long-time fans but also new players.
Previously, the record was held by the remake of Silent Hill 2, released on October 8, 2024. At that time, the one million copies mark was reached in four days, and by January 2025, sales had exceeded two million. Now, Silent Hill f has surpassed that achievement, indicating a growing interest in the franchise.
