NVIDIA and its partners are gradually preparing to release more powerful RTX 50 Super series graphics cards.
The official website of the power supply manufacturer Seasonic has updated its online calculator, which helps you choose the right power supply depending on the system configuration. Among the components are now NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Super and RTX 5070 Ti Super video cards - unannounced models belonging to the expected RTX 50 Super line.
The appearance of these cards may indicate the beginning of internal testing or preparation for release. According to unofficial data, the RTX 5070 Super will receive 18 GB of GDDR7 video memory, and the RTX 5070 Ti Super - up to 24 GB. Although this information has not been confirmed, thanks to the Seasonic calculator, you can estimate the approximate thermal package (TDP) value.
Thus, the calculator indicates a TDP value of 275 W for the RTX 5070 Super - 25 W more than the standard version (250 W). For the RTX 5070 Ti Super, the figure is 350 W versus 300 W for the base model. The increased power consumption is probably due to the transition to larger capacity memory chips - 3 GB per module, which will provide a 50% increase in video memory compared to the base models.
Earlier, insiders reported that the RTX 50 Super series could be released by the holiday season of 2025, but this data was subsequently refuted. Now it is expected that the official announcement will take place in January 2026 as part of the CES exhibition.
