Blizzard Entertainment has returned to Heroes of the Storm once again. The developers of the MOBA game have released update 2.55.13, which players previously tested on a special PTR server for some time.
The authors of Heroes of the Storm reported that the music in the main menu and launch menu has been updated, and the store has introduced the "plush sheep" and "ginger plush sheep" mounts.
Some balance adjustments and mechanic changes have been made to the HOTS balance, for example:
- Auto-attacks, cleaving strikes, and area attacks now work more correctly for all heroes in different situations
- Forts, keeps, and the citadel now grant allied heroes who take damage within their radius 35 armor for 4 seconds. The effect has a cooldown of 4 seconds, and only 1 hero per structure receives armor.
- Mercenary camps now spawn 30 seconds after the start of the match (previously 60 seconds).
- Small experience globes have been removed from the game.
