A few hours ago, the Kickstarter campaign for Don't Starve: The Board Game, which is a board game version of the adventure and digital action game with elements of roguelike, sandbox, and survival, Don’t Starve, was launched.
Employees of Glass Cannon Unplugged wanted to raise $50,000 (4,144,984 rubles) by October 23, 2025, but this goal was achieved in just five minutes. Now the team already has $1,312,098 (108,772,529 rubles).
Thanks to the additional money, the developers will now be able to give gamers a lot of new cards, additional miniatures, a new character – Walter, a unique digital skin for Walter, various tiles, a glowing box and other nice bonuses.
The standard version of the board game, with which you can also get special character skins for the digital version of Don’t Starve, can be bought for $79, the deluxe version – for $129.
Sponsors who pre-order the game in the first 72 hours after the start of the Kickstarter campaign will receive the Wolfgang character for free. Don't Starve: The Board Game is expected to be released only in March 2027.
In this board game project, designed for 1-4 people, people will be able to play as Wilson, Wendy and others, mine resources, craft things, fight monsters, explore biomes, discover recipes and blueprints, and acquire some semblance of a base.
