The essence of the change: the patch increases the volume of the bank safe and the maximum weight of stored items. Now, instead of 25 items, you can store up to 500, and the weight limit has increased from 1,500 to 30,000. This is important news for those who are tired of monitoring their base every week.
Previously, players had to regularly log into the game, replenish fuel in generators, and pay taxes. Otherwise, the base was gradually destroyed by sandstorms, and the protective shields were turned off. The safe was so small that only the most important things could be saved, and after a break, you had to start almost from scratch.
Now players will be able to leave most of the items in the safe and safely leave the game without losing progress. The base is not saved, but returning to the world of Dune: Awakening will become much easier.
The change is currently on the test server, but is likely to be included in the October patch. The values may be adjusted, although such changes have almost never been canceled before. This could also be the first step towards a future server merge, giving players more ways to save items outside of the base.
