Lemer explained that both Dying Light and Far Cry use the so-called "360-degree method." A player in a dangerous situation can choose to fight, run, or hide in the shadows.
He added that in Dying Light: The Beast, there are moments when the game hints that stealthily fleeing from zombies would be the optimal solution. Even then, the player still has tools, such as generators with UV lamps, allowing them to choose an alternative way out of the situation.
The developer noted that he learned a lot of this while working on Far Cry: New Dawn. In his opinion, the Dying Light series applies the approach even better than the Ubisoft franchise.
As for Far Cry, the future of the series remains unknown. Rumor has it that the next installment will offer an unusual solution: a main storyline with a time limit.
