In Dan Trachtenberg's new film, the Predator will find himself in an unfamiliar role for the first time and will be forced to survive on a hostile planet.
20th Century Studios has released the final trailer for 'Predator: Bad Blood' — the new chapter in the legendary franchise. The film marks a radical departure: for the first time, the central character is the Predator himself — a young Yautja named Dek (Dimitrius Kolomathangi). This time, he is not hunting humans, but surviving on an unfamiliar planet inhabited by aggressive flora and fauna.
In an attempt to prove his worth to his father, he must face the most terrifying creature inhabiting this planet, but to survive, he forms an unexpected alliance with Thia, a damaged Weyland-Yutani Corporation android played by Elle Fanning. In one episode, Thia loses her legs, and Dek literally carries her on his back as they wander through the hellish wastelands of the planet.
The final trailer showcases the bizarre and frightening creatures that inhabit this world and underscores Trachtenberg's desire to reimagine the Predator. The director deliberately places him at the center of the story, endowing the hero with an emotionality that viewers have not yet seen, in order to make them empathize with the hunter.
Whether this approach will work remains to be seen: 'Predator: Bad Blood' will be released on November 7, 2025. It is not yet known whether the film will receive a full release in Russia or will be shown as part of pre-show service.
