The second cour of «Gachiakuta» starts this week and will introduce viewers to new characters, fresh musical themes, and a continuation of the story.
The anime «Gachiakuta» does not take a break between the two halves of the season — on October 12, the 14th episode will be released, which will open the second cour. In anticipation of the premiere, Studio BONES presented a new trailer showing additions to the cast and new musical themes. The opening will be the song «LET'S JUST CRASH» by Mori Calliope, and the ending will be the song «BAN» performed by karanoah.
The first can be heard in the new trailer, while the second is presented only as a short teaser lasting 15 seconds. The full premiere of the ending will take place on October 13 at 15:00 Moscow time. This will be the first track by karanoah, recorded specifically for the anime.

«Gachiakuta» is an adaptation of the manga of the same name, combining elements of social drama, science fiction, and action. The story follows a teenager named Rudo, who grew up in the slums of a city where garbage is dumped into a giant Abyss. On false charges, he is sentenced to exile down, to where waste turns into aggressive monsters. Once in this dangerous world, Rudo tries to survive and encounters the «Cleaners» organization, which is fighting the monsters.
The production is handled by Fumihiko Suganuma («Charlotte», «Train to the End of the World»), the script was written by Hiroshi Seko («Chainsaw Man», «Vinland Saga»), the music was composed by Taku Iwasaki («Bungo Stray Dogs», «New Kamen Rider»). The production is handled by Studio BONES, known for «Fullmetal Alchemist» and «Mob Psycho 100».
New episodes will be released weekly until December 14, 2025.
