Some beta participants were unhappy that all weapons were available to every class in the game.
Electronic Arts has announced that Battlefield 6 will launch with support for two different class systems right from the start. The shooter will offer players a choice between playlists with "Open Classes," where weapons and equipment are available without strict restrictions, and "Closed Classes," with traditional role restrictions.
The developers note that according to data obtained during testing, the vast majority of players prefer "Open Classes," choosing flexibility and variety.
It was previously reported that the developers have introduced a restriction on the choice of grenade types for certain specialist classes.
Battlefield 6 is scheduled for release on October 10 on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
