Analysts have calculated the revenue of mobile games for September 2025 and compiled a ranking of the most profitable projects.
Mobilegamer.biz has published a ranking of the highest-grossing mobile games of September, based on data from the Appmagic analytical platform. The statistics only consider revenue from in-game purchases and do not include advertising, spending through web stores, Apple and Google commissions, or data from the Chinese Android market.
Roblox has returned to the top of the ranking, despite a continuing decline in revenue. In September, the game earned $122 million — $35 million less than in August. However, against the backdrop of a general decline, this proved sufficient to once again surpass competitors.
LastWar took second place, earning just under $118 million. This is the second consecutive month that the project has lost some revenue but maintained a high position in the chart.
Roblox's main competitor, MOBA Honor of Kings, finished September with $115.7 million, which is $57.4 million less than the previous month.
PUBG Mobile showed a sharp decline — revenue almost halved, from $132.1 million to $76.6 million. This is the worst result since December 2024, which caused the project to drop to eighth place immediately.
Gacha market flagships Genshin Impact and Honkai: Star Rail have slightly regained their positions. Mobilegamer does not provide exact data on their income, but both games have not yet been able to return to the top 20, which is closed by Royal Kingdom, earning $29 million in September.
