Team Asobi is preparing a surprise for fans of Astro Bot and The Last of Us. The studio's X account featured a short video with the caption: "How are you starting this spooky season?" — with a pumpkin and the hashtags #ASTROBOT and #LastOfUs.
The video shows Astro Bot, PlayStation symbols, and Ellie and Joel bots running away from a scary Clicker.
It looks like a Halloween update with free levels inspired by The Last of Us universe is being prepared for the game. Although Team Asobi has not officially confirmed this yet, the hints in the promo video speak for themselves.
The update is timed to coincide with Halloween and should attract players who are bored of the new content.
This is not the first time that developers have released holiday add-ons. Last year, they added the Winter Wonder winter level, which was warmly received by fans.
It remains to wait for the official announcement, but everything indicates that Astro Bot will receive fresh levels and thematic elements that will revive interest in the game and return part of the audience.
