According to the studio, the long-term sales forecast has been reduced, and losses will amount to €14.9 million, covering most of the capitalized development costs and acquired publishing and distribution rights.
At the same time, the company's financial condition has not been directly affected, but operating profit (EBIT) for the year will be lower than last year. Despite the fact that player and sales figures improved after the update, Remedy acknowledged that the project did not meet internal sales targets.
CEO Tero Virtala said that work on the game will continue:
"We are adjusting investments, but we continue to develop and improve the game in accordance with the updated sales forecast."
The next update, codenamed Rogue Protocol, will be released in late November and will add the roguelike Endless Shift mode, voice chat, and Control-style costumes. And in March 2026, the game will receive the Crisis Kit and new synergy system improvements.
