After 11 years of development, the fantasy strategy game has a release date. Independent studio Greenheart Games has announced that Tavern Keeper is ready for early access, and players will now be able to manage their own taverns.
The project has become a long-term endeavor, but the developers are confident that the game is ready for a wide audience. The early access release on Steam will take place on November 3, 2025, and the studio has released a new trailer for the release.
The authors admit that the work on the game has been delayed. Tavern Keeper combines economic strategy and role-playing within a humorous fantasy setting. Greenheart Games previously created Game Dev Tycoon, which is similar in genre.
Players will not only have to serve visitors and expand the menu, but also develop the tavern, monitor the balance of income and expenses, and maintain the satisfaction of guests and employees.
