Studio founder Tim Schafer immediately clarified that they are not making "Brutal Legends 2."
In the game's pitch video, you can see that the developers used a character made in the characteristic style of Psychonauts to present the idea.
Double Fine Productions continues to make games to this day — the release of the new Keeper project is expected on October 17.
