Chris Stockman hasn't played the upcoming Rockstar project yet, but he highly praises it.
In a recent interview with Esports Insider, Chris Stockman, design director of the first Saints Row, shared his opinion on Grand Theft Auto 6, stating that Take-Two and Rockstar Games have the right to set any price for what is possibly the most ambitious game in history.
According to Stockman, Grand Theft Auto 6 is the only game that can "afford" a $100 price tag.
They are the only ones who can do it. I don't think raising prices to $100 will become a general trend for games. If everyone starts setting that price, it will cause a huge outcry. Not all games are equal. GTA is the only one that can afford it, and I hope they do. This game deserves $100.
Stockman also stated that Grand Theft Auto 3, released in 2001, inspired him and showed him what the future of the gaming industry could be.
