Design Director Virgil Watkins explained in an interview:
"It's interesting how many people wanted a release immediately after the test. But for us, the game wasn't ready. Although it seemed to many that everything was working well, there was still optimization and many features that needed to be completed. There were bugs, and fortunately, they rarely appeared in players' videos, but they still needed to be fixed."
Watkins added that telemetry showed imbalances and the need for new materials. A new map has been added to the game, a fifth is being prepared for launch, and item sets, enemies, and map conditions are being updated, expanding gameplay and new ways to play.
The project, announced in 2021 as a free-to-play cooperative shooter, later became a PvEvP extraction shooter with a one-time purchase. The game is estimated to cost $39.99 at launch.
