Retro gamers were able to find out what chip and display the budget handheld console MagicX Retro 45 will receive, how it will fare with RAM, and how much such a device will cost.
MagicX has shared additional details with gamers regarding the Retro 45 handheld console, which was presented in August, and also published new render images of the device.
The console will feature an analog stick with an octagonal restrictor, a D-pad, A, B, C, X, Y and Z buttons, a MediaTek Helio G85 chip with an Arm Mali-G52 MC2 GPU, WiFi 5G, Bluetooth 5.0, 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of built-in memory.
The MagicX Retro 45 will have a 4.5-inch display with a resolution of 1440 x 1080 pixels. Judging by the preliminary specifications and design, the console is perfect for emulating games from the Nintendo 64.
The device's case is likely larger than that of the Zero 40. Plus, the L1, L2, R1 and R2 bumpers are located a bit unusually. The retail price of the Retro 45 at launch will be around $95 (7662 rubles). Unfortunately, it is not yet known exactly when this budget console will be released and when pre-orders will open.
