Ubisoft promised to release the game in 2026, but apparently, that's no longer certain.
Apparently, the Splinter Cell remake, which Ubisoft promised to release in 2026, has encountered further problems.
Ubisoft Toronto is looking for a new game director for the project. According to the job description, the new director will be responsible for key aspects of the game, including gameplay, gadget implementation, and non-player character behavior.
This is not the first time the project has lost its game director: in 2022, David Grivel, who had worked at Ubisoft for ten years, left the company, leaving the remake without a leader just a few months after its announcement.
