Elizabeth Olsen admitted that she misses her Marvel character.
Elizabeth Olsen said that she would gladly play Scarlet Witch again. In an interview with InStyle magazine, the actress admitted that she missed her character and is ready to return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe if the opportunity arises.
«It's crazy. We are adults who behave like children on the playground. We fly, shoot from our hands. I've been playing her for ten years. Sometimes it's helpful to take a break, but then I start to miss her and want to bring her back. I would love to try on this image again».
Olsen last appeared as Wanda Maximoff in the film "Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness" (2022), where the character is presumed to have died. Later, the actress voiced Scarlet Witch in the animated series "Marvel Zombies", however, according to her, the voice recording took place so long ago that she had forgotten about her participation.
Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige recently fueled fan interest by stating that the studio is "excited to see when and how the Scarlet Witch might return". However, Olsen herself claims that she is not involved in the filming of "Avengers: Secret Wars" and "Avengers: Kang Dynasty", scheduled for release in 2026 and 2027, respectively.
