Krafton plans to use artificial intelligence to automate workflows.
South Korean company Krafton, known for PUBG, The Callisto Protocol, and Subnautica 2, has announced its intention to become a fully AI-oriented company. This was stated by CEO Chang-han Kim during the Krafton Live Talk event on October 23.
From today, Krafton will begin automating processes using AI and implement AI-oriented management.
To implement the strategy, Krafton will invest approximately 100 billion won (approximately 70 million US dollars) in creating a cluster of GPUs for AI-based research and automation. By the end of 2026, the company plans to complete the development of an AI platform and data integration system, creating a unified infrastructure for all workflows.
From 2026, Krafton will also allocate 30 billion won annually to train employees in the use of AI tools.
