While Empress is in retreat, other people are dealing with Denuvo.
Hacker under the nickname voices38 is back with a new PC release. Recently, he was able to deal with the formidable DRM-protection in Starlink Battle for Atlas, and now he has taken on another old project.
He managed to crack the Denuvo DRM protection in Shining Resonance Refrain, released by SEGA back in 2018.
In the case of this game, voices38 is not a pioneering hacker: previously, his colleagues had already offered several versions of the hack, but they did not work correctly on modern PCs / stopped working altogether after one of the Windows OS updates.
The new solution is positioned as fully functional, and voices38 published a full-fledged NFO file for the first time (so far without the bright statements in the spirit of the hacker Empress, but limited himself to just the official description of the game).
