Xbox really has something to be proud of — Ninja Gaiden 4 has received excellent reviews from the press. The game, released on October 21 by publisher Xbox Game Studios, received an average score of 8.2 out of 10 according to OpenCritic.
Some publications gave it top marks — GamesRadar+, Final Weapon, Vamers, DualShockers and AltChart. Xbox has released a short video highlighting the success of the new installment.
But not all reviewers share the enthusiasm. XDA editors rated the game only 6/10, noting a weak plot, repetitive challenges, and an overall feeling of a "budget project."
According to SteamDB statistics, over 11,000 people played Ninja Gaiden 4 simultaneously. According to PlayTracker, sales on Steam reached approximately 130,000 copies.
