Battlefield 6 recently launched its first season. Players have begun exploring the content and sharing their feedback.
Not everyone is satisfied with the new map. The level of disapproval for Blackwell Fields is so high in some cases that it is being called the worst in the series.
There are several reasons for dissatisfaction:
- The map is small, but there is a lot of open space
- Infantry is easily shot from the vehicles located in the "blue zone" of the map, it is very difficult to dislodge the enemy in "armor," and gamers like ButtPlugForPM feel that "it is literally impossible to die in a tank on this map"
- Aviation is easy to shoot down, as AA and "\"Stinger\" covers the entire map"
- The location is severely limited: areas on the edge of the map that (according to community members) should be accessible for movement are actually outside the map.
Some players also have complaints about monetization (the quantity and cost of DLC) and the "Battle Royale." The overall surge of negativity has affected Battlefield 6's rating on Steam: recent reviews are now in the "Mixed" category.
