Stormind Games, known for the Remothered series and collaboration on Mafia: The Old Country, has announced a major financial injection.
Marsa Holding invested in the project, acquiring 10% of Stormind Holding's shares. Intesa Sanpaolo and Mediocredito Centrale also joined the deal, strengthening the investment package.
The developers plan to use the funds to create a new game related to a well-known Hollywood franchise. The project will continue the success of A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead, published by Saber Interactive and based on the Paramount film universe.
Studio head Antonio Cannata noted that the team wants to maintain independence and their own style:
"We want to do something that hasn't been done in Italy before. We don't want pressure from investors — we choose creative freedom and international scale."
