Players will have freedom of expression, but only within the setting and common sense.

In a new interview, Embark Studios Design Director Virgil Watkins stated that ARC Raiders will not feature meaningless skins that do not match the game's atmosphere.

We believe we will maintain the current aesthetic. It will fit into our ideas of how things look and fit into the world and fictional universe.

Embark Studios promises to give players "as much freedom of self-expression as possible", but only as long as that freedom is within the visual aesthetics of ARC Raiders.

ARC Raiders is now available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
