Mortal Kombat: Legacy Kollection Receives Near-Perfect Scores from Publications

The collection is not only a journey into the past but also one of the most successful releases of the year. The game's average score is 87%, making it one of the highest-rated in 2025.

Journalists note that Digital Eclipse and Warner Bros. have created a project that combines a high-quality update of the classic with respect for its legacy.

Critics highlight: incredible attention to detail, from the accurate reproduction of arcade versions to a rich archive of materials; an interactive documentary about the history of the series with Ed Boon and John Tobias; smooth gameplay, modern sound, and diverse modes without issues.

Some remarks concern: character balance; an overly conservative interface; the absence of advanced customization settings and a training mode for beginners.

Many media representatives claim that this is a must-buy for fans of fighting games and game history.
