Battlefield 6 players can finally relax — the developers have removed the controversial requirement associated with REDSEC mode.
REDSEC was conceived as a large-scale innovation, promising diversity comparable to Battlefield 6 itself. Initially, the project looked promising, especially for fans of the series, who were offered free participation. But even if the user didn't want to play the battle royale mode, the game still pushed them towards it — the challenges and tasks concerned REDSEC. This is no longer the case.
In a recent statement, the developers confirmed that the task system has been updated. Now, users who prefer the classic Battlefield 6 will not receive missions related to REDSEC.
The studio listened to the community and removed one of the most annoying features of recent updates.
