The company has introduced an updated version of the My Nintendo app, previously available exclusively in Japan.
Nintendo has released the Nintendo Store mobile app for iOS and Android devices. Now, users worldwide can browse and purchase consoles, accessories, games, and branded merchandise directly from their smartphones.
The app was initially released in Japan in 2020 under the name My Nintendo. In the updated version, its interface has been redesigned, and the name has been changed to Nintendo Store, marking the launch of the global version.
Features include browsing the Nintendo Switch 2, Switch, and accessories range, receiving notifications about discounts and events, tracking gaming activity via Nintendo Account, and registering for official company events.
The app is distributed for free. However, as is often the case, users from Russia will have to look for workarounds to use it.
