The actor admitted that filming in the hot desert for the third part of «Dune» became one of the most exhausting and at the same time relaxing experiences in his career.
In an interview with IndieWire, Robert Pattinson shared his impressions of working on the film «Dune: Part Three» directed by Denis Villeneuve.
«When I was filming “Dune”, it was so hot in the desert that I just couldn’t think about anything. And it was surprisingly relaxing — like my brain stopped working. Not a single cell of it was functioning. I was just listening to Denis: “Anything you want!”»
The premiere of the film «Dune: Part Three» is expected on December 18, 2026. The film is based on Frank Herbert's 1969 novel «Dune Messiah», which tells about Atreides' clash with the consequences of the Fremen jihad he led after his rise to Emperor Muad'Dib. Pattinson will play the role of the villain Scytale in the film — one of the participants in the conspiracy against Atreides.
