Despite high-profile releases for consoles and PC, Take-Two's mobile division has once again become the company's main source of revenue.

Take-Two Interactive has published its financial report for the second quarter of fiscal year 2026, which ended on September 30, 2025. Despite a series of high-profile console releases — Borderlands 4, NBA 2K, and Mafia: The Old Country — the company's main source of revenue was once again the mobile segment.

According to the report, mobile projects from Zynga, Peak, Rollic, and Nordeus provided 46% of Take-Two's revenue for the quarter — about $821 million. Console games brought in slightly less — about $730 million, and sales on PC and other platforms added another $230 million. In total, the company earned $1.77 billion, increasing revenue for the quarter by a third compared to last year.

The leaders in the mobile segment were Toon Blast, Match Factory, Color Block Jam, Empires & Puzzles, Words With Friends, and Toy Blast. Net revenue from mobile sales amounted to $818.1 million — 13% more than the previous year.

In the subsequent telephone conference, Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick noted that the company's mobile business "significantly exceeded expectations." According to him, the company expects the mobile segment to grow by approximately 10% in the next quarter.
