Sega and Sonic Team have announced that Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds will be released digitally for Nintendo Switch 2 on December 4, 2025.
The enhanced edition of the popular racing game will offer optimized graphics and performance, tailored to the capabilities of the new console. Owners of the Nintendo Switch version will be able to upgrade via the Switch 2 Upgrade Pack with a 50% discount until December 10. Early purchasers of the Switch 2 Edition will receive a bonus Werehog Pack, available for activation until December 17.
The Switch 2 version, compared to the Switch version, will feature improved visual effects, a higher frame rate, fully utilizing the new console's performance. Local and online multiplayer for up to 12 players, all major Switch 2 game modes, and a complete language pack are supported.
