A community solution helped the developers.
The release version of Hollow Knight Silksong pleased many, but some players from China had questions about the localization.
The translation of Silksong into Chinese turned out to be of poor quality, with a lot of "ad-libbing" and some elements differing greatly from the original Hollow Knight.
Team Cherry heard the feedback and, after testing, released a patch that integrates a refined fan-made translation mod into the game: "Updated Simplified Chinese translation using fan translation provided by Team Cart Fix."
Some other changes:
- Switched to the Unity input system to improve overall controller support. In particular, the vibration function now works for various controllers, and additional gamepads are also recognized.
- Added a "graininess" effect in the advanced settings.
- The Crown of Purity has become stronger
- Fixed cases where Hornet could push enemies through the ground
- Fixed attacks of some opponents
