Bethesda is in no hurry to please fans with news about The Elder Scrolls 6. Periodically, various rumors and insights appear on the network about what the developers are supposedly doing.
For example, recently TES fans discussed "insights" that came from the 4chan forum (it is known for dubious publications).
It is claimed that the protagonist in TES 6 is a "prisoner, implied to be a pirate, on a small prison island not far from the city of Sentinel." He supposedly wakes up during a riot and leaves the island, posing as a messenger.
- The game world of TES 6 will be 1.7 times larger than Skyrim, it uses "muted\dark colors, like in Skyrim, to reflect the harsh nature of Hammerfell and express the local culture"
- "Fast travel" from any point on the map will be removed, instead they will offer fast travel via caravan, boats, road signs.
- There will be a fortress construction system.
- Cities and settlements are open for visits, as are some buildings. However, large buildings such as palaces, fortresses, guild halls, and hotels will still be blocked behind loading screens.
However, not all fans are quick to believe such rumors, for example, user xAVATAR-AANGx noted a point that, in his opinion, negates the entire "inside":
You can skip reading past the phrase "implied to be a pirate" - because having any established traits for the main character that are not the result of the player's will, besides "prisoner and chosen one", contradicts Bethesda's game design for TES
