The creators of Zenless Zone Zero have big plans for the project. miHoYo (HoYoverse) has published a selection of developer responses, revealing some ideas.
- In version 2.5, the sandbox mode will be updated
- The main storyline will feature more storylines related to AI, and the Internot will be regularly updated
- Intuition will become more useful, and Kind Banbu will help in the search for treasures.
- Enemies will better interact with levels and the environment
- A new way to move using E Shungwang's ability
- A new cyclical gameplay (mode) will appear: it will offer to explore the cavern, accumulate resources, and fight
- They will refine the "most promising mechanics"
The developers of Zenless Zone Zero also announced that "multiplayer mode is returning with new features":
- In multiplayer mode, players will be able to share signature attack chains
- New "interesting mechanics that will make multiplayer mode even more exciting" will be added
In Zenless Zone Zero version 2.4, an "auto-control mode" will appear — it should free players from "unnecessary worries."
