A gaming industry veteran with over 20 years of experience, Johannes Timme, who spent 13 years at Ubisoft, has announced the creation of a new studio called Quality Time. The company is based in Lower Saxony, Germany, in the coastal town of Varel.
Quality Time will focus on developing an original game prototype, as well as providing consulting, coaching, and mentoring services for aspiring developers and indie studios. The range of services includes support for product vision, publishing and investor attraction strategies, optimization of production processes and business structures, and assistance in establishing international collaborations.
At Ubisoft, Timme held key positions: Lead Producer, Development Director, Online Services Director, and Executive Management Member. Under his leadership, games in the Assassin's Creed, Far Cry, Rainbow Six Siege, and Might & Magic series were developed, as well as projects based on the Star Wars and Avatar franchises.
