Secret Character, known for Neko Odyssey and Banchou Tactics, has announced a new 2.5D tactical roguelike, Eternity Breaker. The game is set to release on PC via Steam in 2026.
The project combines turn-based battles and pixel fantasy graphics. The story follows a hero's attempt to escape an endless dungeon. Combat is based on a skill system: in each round, the set of available skills changes, as does their level.
Skills are divided into three types: melee (red), magic (blue), and technical (green). The class of the character depends on which abilities the player receives.
Classes are divided into two levels: basic with special techniques and advanced, possessing an ultimate attack. For example, if a character has two red skills, they become a warrior; adding two blue skills transforms them into a battle mage. Four red abilities turn the hero into a dark knight.
In total, Eternity Breaker features over 20 classes. In battle, you can use artifacts and items, combining skills and creating unique playstyles in each playthrough.
Eternity Breaker will be released in 2026.
