The developers of Clash Royale have announced an upcoming update that will be one of the largest in the game's history.
Supercell is preparing a major update to Clash Royale that will simplify the leveling and reward system. The update will be released on November 24 and will remove several outdated resources from the game - elite cards, books, and magic coins. All of them will automatically turn into basic currencies: gems, gold, and "wild cards."
The main innovation is the level 16 cards, designed for players who have reached the maximum. Upgrade requirements have been revised: now you need less gold and cards, and the intermediate progress will be smoother.
Ranked matches will retain the level 15 limit until May 2026 to give all players time to level up.
Excess copies of cards after reaching the maximum will turn into crystals - a new currency for buying cosmetics and emotes. The Trophy Road will also be expanded: the ceiling will be raised to 12,000 trophies, four new arenas will appear, and the rating access system will be updated.
In addition, the game will feature a 2v2 league, a redesigned Evolution Box, the Clashmas holiday event, and a mysterious "heroic" innovation, which will be revealed in December.
