The launch of Vampire The Masquerade Bloodlines 2 was not very smooth, but the project is gradually being fixed.

The Chinese Room studio has already released several updates for Vampire The Masquerade Bloodlines 2 and intends to continue. The developers recently presented patch 1.0.4, as well as a roadmap.

Patch 1.0.5 is planned for this year, which will add an FOV option (field of view setting), the ability to adjust the depth of field, and improvements to the save system in Bloodlines 2.

In addition, a "winter update" is being prepared — with thematic cosmetic content and custom difficulty settings.

Some fixed bugs:

  • Previously, the game did not save progress when exiting to the main menu or exiting the game, which could lead to the loss of hours of progress in the hub — a new save function has appeared. When exiting the game from the main menu or selecting "Exit Game", the autosave will be updated to reflect progress on collectibles, blood resonance, and ability points.
  • Fixed character getting stuck inside the elevator
  • Fixed conversations and hints
  • Enemies should no longer get stuck in environmental objects in some combat scenes
  • The "Elder of Pure Blood" achievement, awarded for collecting all other achievements, should now unlock correctly.
