Insiders continue to share details about the upcoming crossover of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Rumors about the plot of the movie "Avengers: Secret Wars" are gaining momentum online. According to insider MyTimeToShineHello, the central conflict of the film will be the confrontation between Steve Rogers, played by Chris Evans, and Victor von Doom, played by Robert Downey Jr.
He claims that Doom lost his wife and son in an accident caused by a time paradox after Steve's actions. Victor himself was severely injured and is now seeking revenge.
Although Downey Jr.'s version of Doom has not previously appeared in the cinematic universe, the insider finds it remarkable that Evans and Downey Jr. will once again be on opposite sides of the conflict. He notes that he "doesn't like" how much the plot of "Secret Wars" resembles "Captain America: Civil War", and directly calls the future film "Civil War 2".
Cosmic Circus adds that Kang's motives from "Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania" will be preserved and will develop into Doom's storyline. According to analyst Alex Perez, Doom will become a character who is annoyed by any interference in the timelines.
Thus, these two messages do not contradict each other, but complement and give a clearer picture of the possible plot of the future crossover.
