The Delta Force season kicked off with a new trailer that caused a scandal: one of the 3D objects turned out to be from the game Rust. This was reported by the director of Facepunch.
It's about the model of an explosive charge. Alistair McFarlane posted a screenshot on the X network.
Hi, Delta Force. Thanks for being fans of Rust. Please remove our work. If you wanted to collaborate, you could have just contacted us.
In the next entry, he added: "But the trailer is cool!".
A few hours later, Team Jade apologized. In a statement, the developers explained that the model ended up in the video due to oversight: it was bought in an online store without checking the author.
The conflict has been resolved: the creators of Rust allowed the model to remain in the trailer, and Team Jade promised to check the authorship more carefully in the future.
We really appreciate you letting us keep the trailer as is - it means a lot to us. We are tightening measures to prevent this from happening again. Thanks again.
