We wrote about Cowboy Life Simulator four years ago. Back then, it seemed like the team had abandoned the project, but development continued — the game is alive and has a release date.
Polish studio Odd Qubit is preparing a modest answer to Red Dead Redemption. The scale, budget, and overall approach are different: Cowboy Life Simulator focuses on the everyday tasks of a cowboy — crafting items, working with the herd, and developing their own ranch.
There will be shootouts too. Gangs operate in the area, and the ranch owner will have to protect the animals from predators.
Early access for Cowboy Life Simulator starts on November 26, 2025. You can follow the development progress on the project page on Steam.
The authors promise an open world, a building system, agriculture, animal care, home decoration, storylines with colorful characters, hero development, combat encounters, and weapon upgrades.
