HBO Begins Work on Script for Second Season of "Harry Potter" Series
The creators of the "Harry Potter" series on HBO are not slowing down in their effort to meet the ten-year cycle.
HBO is already preparing for the second season of the "Harry Potter" series, despite the fact that the first is still in production and will only be released in 2027. HBO and HBO Max chief Casey Bloys confirmed that the writers have started writing new episodes to reduce the gap between seasons.
According to Bloys, the team is trying to avoid long delays in release — this is especially important because of the age of the young actors. He noted that there will still be a break between filming, but the team will try to make it as short as possible.
Previously, HBO reported that each season will adapt one book by J.K. Rowling, so the series may stretch for seven seasons, and the entire production, according to plans, will take about ten years.
