The premiere of the final season of "Stranger Things" is just around the corner, and the Duffer brothers decided to save time for fans who cannot or do not want to rewatch the series from the very beginning.
The creators of "Stranger Things," Matt and Ross Duffer, have named four episodes that they believe will help refresh memories before the start of the fifth season. In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, they noted that the selection allows you to quickly restore key elements of mythology and storylines related to Will Byers and Vecna.
Recommended episodes:
- Season 2, episode 4 — "Will the Wise";
- Season 2, episode 6 — "The Spy";
- Season 4, episode 7 — "The Massacre at Hawkins Lab";
- Season 4, episode 9 — "The Piggyback".
According to Matt Duffer, it was in the second season that the team began to truly build the mythology of the series, and the events of the fourth directly resonate with what viewers will see in the finale. Ross Duffer added that "The Massacre at Hawkins Lab" becomes the starting point for revealing the secrets of the Upside Down and leads to the lines of Henry and Eleven — central to the upcoming finale.
The premiere of the fifth season will take place on November 27 at 4:00 am Moscow time. On this day, the first volume of four episodes will be released, the second (three episodes) - December 26, and the final episode will complete the story on January 1, 2026.
