The creators of the real-time strategy game Broken Arrow recently published a roadmap for the project, outlining plans for the next year and the beginning of 2027.
They plan to conclude this year with a series of technical updates that are "aimed at strengthening current processes, improving quality, and creating new opportunities for further growth."
Allied bots will be introduced into the "Skirmish" mode: you can not only challenge the AI but also take it as an ally.
In 2026, the authors of Broken Arrow will continue to improve the network foundation. In addition, there are plans to introduce new features, such as "observer mode" and saves for the campaign, as well as the release of several DLCs with additional specializations:
Each expansion will expand the gameplay, offering selections of units with unique types of weapons, as well as new models of equipment. This will allow players to delve deeper into the tactical potential of their units and diversify strategic opportunities in battle.
In 2027, they want to release a major expansion for Broken Arrow with a new faction with unique weapons, structure, and game mechanics:
New theaters of war will be added, which will expand the territory for battles. In addition, new equipment and squads will appear, complementing the tactical diversity, and an add-on will be released for existing specializations, enhancing their depth and variability.
