Recently, an interview with the creator of Escape from Tarkov was published on the YouTube channel "Проходимец".
During the conversation with the head of Battlestate Games, the topic of collaborations was touched upon. Nikita Buyanov stated that "there will be collaborations."
The creator cannot yet say exactly which ones, but he shared a story about failed collaborations. As it turned out, content from "The Witcher" could have appeared in Escape from Tarkov:
If suddenly someone hears, guys there are fans or suddenly someone from developers of other games with whom we could potentially do collaborations — write to us by mail. We will consider cool collaborations, collaborate, because we are for good, we will gladly promote you and promote ourselves with pleasure, of course. But good collaborations are cool. A long time ago, I remember, we wanted to collaborate with "The Witcher". We made a "Witcher" medallion and said: "you can just tribute and add this medallion to the game", and I was told "no, thanks".
This refusal greatly upset Nikita Buyanov. According to him, he then canceled the addition of the Pip-Boy from Fallout. The creator also admitted that he is not a fan of "The Witcher" and has not completed the game.
