The Russian studio "Cyberia Nova", known for "Smuta" and "Zemsky Sobor", has announced personnel changes at the highest level. Sergey Russkikh, who previously held the position of creative director, has been appointed head of the company.
In his new role, Sergey Russkikh will be responsible for shaping the studio's development strategy, managing the creative vision, and developing future games.
Sergey Russkikh is a veteran of the gaming industry with more than 15 years of experience. From 2008 to 2014, he worked as an art producer and creative co-producer at Alawar, where he oversaw the visual and creative support of projects. In 2015, he moved to Game Insight as a project manager, and then left for ILVINGI, where he was a producer and art manager, while also organizing the work of the team and controlling the artistic direction.
Russkikh has been working at "Cyberia Nova" since 2016: first as a producer, and then as a creative director. It was under his leadership that the adventure action game "Zemsky Sobor" was released.
