Gothic fans continue to deliver new content for the game.
Recently, the GoldenGateTeam released a trailer for the large-scale modification for Gothic II "Golden Gate 2: Heart of the Goddess" (or Golden Gate: Goddess Heart).
The story focuses on a young hunter Morris, whose past is very mysterious:
The action takes place a few years after the events of the first part on an island called Samoa. Samoa may seem like a quiet place, but dramatic events have taken place here in the past. It used to be inhabited by the Hasians - bloody cultists who worshiped the dark goddess Hatiret. Despite the fact that the Hasians were killed more than 100 years ago, we can still find many of their remains on the island. During the game, we will be able to discover many secrets and make a number of difficult decisions that will lead to amazing events. We will also learn about the fate of the Nameless Hero and how the hero influenced the kingdom of Elea.

The "Golden Gate 2: Heart of the Goddess" mod will offer 10-20 hours of gameplay (about 100 quests). The release is expected on December 12.
Modders clarified that the modification will be available for download on GOG, Steam and ModDB.
